Grove House was conceived through restraint, allowing the design effort to focus on what matters most: tropical responsiveness. Deep overhangs, recessed volumes, and an operable gridded screen act as a passive cooling system, reducing solar heat gain and improving comfort without relying solely on mechanical conditioning.

These elements give the family control—privacy, brightness, ventilation—adjusted with simple, intuitive moves. The result is a façade that appears quietly confident, shielding the home from heat and street intensity while maintaining thermal comfort inside.

At the rear, the house opens generously to a garden filled with light, landscape, and air. Balconies, a pool, and a lanai foster effortless indoor-outdoor living. Here, the benefits of tropical design become part of daily life: cooler interiors, reduced energy use, and a deeper sense of ease grounded in nature.
