Buensalido + Architects rebrands itself into Barchan Architecture, launching a commemorative book of its 18 years in the industry

After 18 years of original and innovative design solutions, the award-winning architecture firm Buensalido + Architects released a limited-edition coffee table book titled Shifting Sands. Accompanying the launch is the company’s much-anticipated rebranding.

Now called Barchan Architecture, the firm derives its name from the term for crescent-shaped dunes found in deserts—dunes that exist without the use of natural resources and are shaped only by nature.

Architect Jason Buensalido, alongside Barchan’s key partners—vice president of admin, finance, and culture, Architect Nikki Boncan-Buensalido; vice president of operations and associate architect Ems Eliseo; associate architect for design and lead project architect Jerome Bautista; and associate architect for culture and lead project architect Cholo Ramirez—continue to elevate their standards as they explore new ways to express culture in architecture and improve lives through innovative styles.
